Youth choir for individuals 18 and younger which sings every 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month.

The MMBC Educational Advisory Center Ministry is proposing a program to assist our youth by

  • Improving behavioral and professional growth
  • By targeting age groups between 5 and 25 years old
  • Establish a single point of access for academic support, career exploration, guidance, summer enrichment, writing, scholarship identification, and application assistance

Chairperson of EAC Ministry is Eleanor Harris, meetings Thursday 7:00pm.

Men only singing group with a quartet style, which sings every 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

Mission: Our mission as Missionaries is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the land. The duties of a missionary, is to provide services to the sick and needy in and outside the community.

The original choir of the church which sings every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month.

Mission: This ministry provides assistance to the pastor with baptism, and services to meet the needs of the congregation, new members, and the community. We also provide baskets during Thanksgiving and Christmas to the seniors, those in sick and shut-in and also those in need. We know we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

President: Ora Belton

Mission: This ministry assists active members of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in continuing their education at accredited institutions.

More info: Applicants must submit a complete application and essay yearly to the scholarship committee prior to the Friday before the Annual Youth Day. The essay topic is decided upon by the committee and provided with the application package. Applications are accepted for four years if receiving a Bachelor or higher degree and applications are accepted for two years for all receiving an Associate degree.

Purpose: To greet, make all feel welcome at the church, and assist persons in locating a seat in the sanctuary. Additionally, the ushers are attentive to needs of the Pastor, as well as the congregation during all worship services.

Mission: The mission of the Women’s Auxiliary is to promote Christian fellowship among the women of the church and community. We offer women opportunities to share their interests and to be of assistance to the church and community by providing needed services and sharing talents. We are confident that what we do for Christ will last.

President: Robbie Rodgers

The Young Adult Choir bridges the musical gap between the B.N. Scott Singers and the Mass Choir. This choir consists of members between the ages of 18 to 30 who love to give God praise through song service. The choir sings every 1st and 5th Sunday.

President: Alisha Lovett

Singing group for males 18 and younger which sings every 1st and 3rd Sundays.
